How many days Pushkaralu are celebrated?

The Pushkaralu festival, also known as the Pushkaram festival, is celebrated for a period of 12 days. The exact dates of the festival vary depending on the Hindu lunar calendar and the appearance of the Pushkaram star in the sky.

During the 12-day festival, millions of devotees visit the river bank, to take a dip in the holy waters of the Ganges at the various ghats, or steps leading down to the river. The act of bathing in the Ganges is seen as a way to wash away one’s sins and seek the blessings of the goddess Ganga.

The festival also includes a variety of cultural and religious activities, such as music and dance performances, religious ceremonies, and fairs. The 12 days of the festival are a time for prayer, meditation, and reflection, and are seen as an opportunity to connect with the divine and seek spiritual guidance.
